Google My Business App Remodel Rivals Facebook Pages

On 14th November 2018, Google released a brand new and enhanced version of the Google My Business app. This is yet another update from Google, who recently updated Google Maps to have a follow button for businesses.

So, what does this mean for you, as business owners, and what has changed? In summary, business owners, like you, can do more on-the-go. With new features including the ability to post content, customer tabs, notifications and analytics, Google has produced a whole new, interactive space to attract and engage with consumers.

Customers can also contact you with questions, queries or concerns so it’s really important to keep on top of these messages to maximise conversions. This allows you to grow your online reach and improve brand awareness whilst boosting sales.

The features are easy to use, accessible and convenient. Also, because the updates are so new, not many people know about them. This means that they can help you get ahead of your competitors too.

Additionally, Google has released monthly statistics to give you an insight into how influential a search on their search engine can be. Through Google search, people are connected to local businesses more than 9 billion times a month. Furthermore, over 1 billion phone calls are generated and more than 3 billion direct requests to store are made.
