Circle2Success are a well-established national networking group based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. They offer face-to-face events where business leaders can make mutually beneficial and lucrative connections. These networking events include training sessions, dinners and even sporting events. They also produce an innovative biannual magazine that promotes local business stories, covers events and allows businesses to showcase their services and successes.

We have worked with Circle2Success for 5 years, and this has developed into a strong partnership where we have supported them through several changes in strategy and focus due to the current changing business climate.

The Magazine

Our graphic designers help to produce the Circle2Success business magazine, designed within InDesign and then made print-ready to hand over to our printing partners. The content of the magazine ranges from images to articles, and the contents went from around 72 pages to a whopping 160 pages during lockdown. We use an online magazine reader to allow the users to “flick” through the pages to add a realistic experience of perusing a magazine.

During the pandemic, we adapted quickly and went from print-only to a digital version of the magazine too, accessible for all types of screens. Members can request the magazine via email or can browse certain sections of the magazine on the website. The digital version allowed us to link up each article separately. This allowed us to tie in the magazine with online events to increase conversions.

The Website

The Circle2Success website consists of a wide variety of functionality to match their business requirements; including a calendar with bookable events and checkout functionality, a news blog to host both company and member news, their digital magazine, a member directory and much more. We utilise data capture and gated content to help them gather useful information on their members, allowing us to know which sections of the website works best for their business.

During the pandemic, we were able to fully support this client to swiftly alter their focus, updating their event management system to support them hosting virtual events, integrating directly with Zoom. Circle2Success also started C2S.TV, and we supported them to host a large amount of video content on the website and edited their videos for consistent marketing messaging.


One of the main focuses of their SEO strategy has been the user journey. To improve this we have been redesigning and rebuilding pages to improve both the user experience and user flow, making sure we write content that matches the searcher intent and we updated the keyword research.

Off the back of our keyword research, we have spent time building out relevant content and pages based around popular and relevant search terms.

Over time we have evolved the focus of the Circle2Success SEO strategy to match changes in the search behaviour of their potential customers. An example of this is when we shifted the focus of the strategy over to promoting their online events due to lockdown.
